Stopped by on a Monday morning and had a phenomenal experience at Scotty’s. Evette was our server and she took the best care of our party and we are leaving with full bellies and cannot wait to come back to being more guests. This place is a treasure of Columbus!
We just went for the first time today and will definitely be returning regularly. We had to sample everything and every single thing we got was delicious! The latkes and blintzes were the best we've ever had. The Reuben and club were fantastic and we agreed we could drink the tomato basil soup by the gallon! We got some desserts and deli salads to bring home and are sure they will be equally amazing. The service was so welcoming, friendly and attentive, we can't wait to go back!
My family and I were visiting from England and had the absolute pleasure of stopping by Scotty’s Café in Columbus. The owners, Scotty and Gina, are genuinely some of the nicest people you could meet. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly attentive, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The food was amazing and served very quickly. The French toast was absolutely delicious, and the omelette was equally impressive—fresh, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. A lovely touch was the wide variety of teas available, which was especially appreciated and paired perfectly with the meal. Scotty and Gina were very chatty and took the time to share family stories of Scotland, which made the experience feel even more special and personal. Their warmth and friendliness truly set this café apart. Highly recommended—fantastic food, wonderful owners, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back if we’re ever in Columbus again!
My experience at Scotty’s Cafe was very pleasant. The food was fresh and cooked to order. And the service was excellent. The owner, Scotty was walking around talking to everyone and that me feel special. Great place all around.
Scotty's Cafe & Catering by Scott is located on East Broad Street near Bexley. It’s a cozy family owned restaurant. It has to be one of the top famous places to eat in central Ohio with big servings of food at inexpensive prices. Everything is made in house from scratch and their desserts look absolutely delicious. I was too full to try anything more than the, French Toast, The Reuben, The Schmoozer and Gabbie’s Tuna Melt. Anything you order is sure to please and the diner has this super cool and nostalgic 1950’s - 1960’s vibe. Scott and Gina are absolutely amazing people and so is their food! If you haven’t been, it needs to be on your bucket list!
SUPERB!!! First stop after landing from FL. AMAZING service from the staff / owner Gina + FANTASTIC food. Eggs, toast, bacon, etc. were awesome. Wife ordered waffles with bacon and strawberries. She loved it. This place has earned. 5 star rating and it shows. The owner was so kind. A+ must visit & support!
The food is only superseded by the warm service. They serve incredible omelets. I favor the Sam's Western. Large, fluffy, just the right amount of ingredients. Their coffee is a dream. They have a sizable menu, but ive never had anything bad off of it. My only gripe is that they aren't open on weekends, but that's just my greed. A perfect breakfast spot.
Me and my husband absolutely love this place. Food was delicious. Owner was great, staff was extremely friendly. Food came out fast cooked perfectly. Our family will definitely be returning. The entire staff worked so well together, and everybody was extremely happy and pleasant. You don't find too many places like this anymore. Like I told my husband it was like a well oiled machine running to perfection. Definitely recommend trying the hot chocolate It was delicious.
